Travel Tips
🚖Traveling & Transportation
- Please be cautious of cyclists and pedestrians in the area as our farm is located on back country roads.
- Services like Uber/Lyft are not reliable in this area especially during closing hours. Please plan ahead if you need a ride.
- Traveling From NYC: Drive north via I‑87/I‑287 and US 9W. Expect around 1 hour 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic
- By Train: Take Metro North to New Hamburg station followed by a ride 10 miles south on US 9W. Please plan ahead if using ride-share or taxi services
- During Peak season, we suggest arriving early for easy parking and to avoid long lines.
- Our farm is located in a residential area. Please be respectful to our neighbors by adhering to private property signs and refraining from the use of anyone’s personal driveways.

Parking is Free.
Our winery is currently open on weekends from 11am-5pm.

Hayrides are free and run on weekend afternoons only during picking season (weather pending)
During picking season, we have live music on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4pm unless otherwise noted (weather pending).
Admission is paid at the door unless an event specifies that tickets are available via Exploretock.com/weedorchards
Bringing food or coolers is not permitted. All bags are checked upon arrival.
 Yes-On weekends we offer menu selection of traditional pizzas, sandwiches and more.Â
We do not have a limit on group sizes. Tables fit 6-8 people max. Guests are not able to move tables together. We do not offer special group packages or discounts for large groups however, we do recommend purchasing tickets in advance on our exploretok to take advantage of the the pre-sale pricing.
 Yes. We accept all major credit cards. We currently do not accept Apple Pay at all locations other than the bar.

Dog Policy
Dogs are allowed on the premises if we are provided with a signed copy of our dog policy. Our dog policy can be read and printed below or signed upon arrival to the winery.
Purpose
This policy is designed to ensure the well-being of dogs and people, maintain cleanliness, and promote a harmonious environment. This policy applies to all residents, employees, and visitors within the premises where this policy is enforced.

Behavior and Control
Dogs must be leashed at all times. Aggressive behavior, including growling, barking excessively, or snapping, will not be tolerated. Dogs should not be left unattended. Owners should ensure their dogs do not disturb others. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs immediately and must use dog-waste bags.

Restricted Areas
Dogs are not permitted indoors during peak season or near the playground.

Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency involving a dog, such as a bite or severe injury, please notify staff immediately.

Compliance and Enforcement
Failure to comply with this policy may result in warnings, or other disciplinary actions, including the removal of the dog from the premises. Weed Orchards reserves the right to amend this policy as needed and will provide notice of any changes.

Responsibility for Behavior and Accidents
Dog owners are fully responsible for their dog’s behavior at all times. This includes any accidents, injuries, or damages caused by their dog. In the event of an accident involving a dog, the owner is liable for any medical expenses, property damage, or other costs incurred as a result.
